FARM SANCTUARIES

A place for rescued farm animals and learning...
(photo: Farm Sanctuary)
"Family farms are being replaced with large-scale factory farms, where animals are treated like unfeeling commodities and subjected to institutionalized abuse. That's why Farm Sanctuary was formed."

That's a direct quote from one of the most progressive thinking organizations in the movement, Farm Sanctuary.

Farm Sanctuary, and a few others like it, are in the forefront of the movement to wage effective campaigns to stop farm animal cruelty. In addition, related issues like "Downers", anti-veal", and the recognition of animals as "Sentient Beings" are being fought over in addition to their obvious promotion of vegan lifestyles.

Ecodense.com is glad that places like this and the people that run them exist!
